Overview
Responsible for performing pre-bill audits to ensure billing requirements are met prior to submission of home health claims and working with the billing department and home health agencies to resolve billing issues timely.
Responsibilities
+ Performs pre-bill audits to ensure billing requirements are met prior to claim submission
+ Ensures physician orders are signed
+ Ensures Face-to-Face Encounter documentation is present
+ Ensures visit documentation is present for all visits to be billed
+ Communicates with the billing department and home health agency regarding information needed to ensure timely and accurate filing of claims
+ Assists the agencies with troubleshooting to resolve issues holding claims
+ Provides support to agencies daily to ensure timely and accurate billing of claims
