Practicas Npi Sourcing (Monterrey)

Role Summary

We are Wabtec Corporation’s NPI Sourcing department. This role gives support to NPI Buyers through executing the Request for Quote (RFQ) Process in a timely manner, initiating and expediting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and assisting buyers in achieving key NPI fulfillment metrics.

Essential Responsibilities

• Execute Request for Quote (RFQ) Process with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely return of quotes.
• Initiate PPAP requests, participate in PPAP review boards to ensure timely launch of supplier PPAP’s, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely part qualification.
• Communicate with suppliers to receive component promise dates, and expedite material as necessary to ensure timely delivery to the production shop floor.
• Contribute to projects as a team member within the NPI Fulfillment organization and support buyers in other tasks as necessary to ensure NPI Fulfillment team success.
