Job Description
Great opportunity to work as a PPT Driver for a leading company in the fruit and vegetable industry, packing and supplying fresh produce across the UK. Staffline is seeking Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) Drivers to join their team in Peterborough. This is a temp-to-perm position. You must be willing to take on a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
Pay rates: Day shift £13.40 per hour. Overtime £16.75 per hour after 48 hours.
Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off.
Shift times: 05:45 am - 18:15 pm.
Due to the early start time, candidates should have their own vehicle or reliable transport to ensure a calm and punctual start to the day, as public services may not yet be running at that hour.
Your Time at Work
- Help unload and load lorries
- Bring stock to the production lines
- Move completed stock from production lines to the dispatch area
- Perform heavy lifting as required
