Position Summary
The Plant, Soil, and Microbial Sciences Department at Michigan State University is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to support research, student recruitment, and scholarly publication activities within the department.
The appointment is divided among research activities (50%), undergraduate recruitment and outreach (25%), and scientific publication and dissemination efforts (25%).
Job Responsibilities:
Research (50%)
+ Conduct laboratory, greenhouse, field, and data analysis activities supporting plant pathology and crop protection research programs.
+ Assist with experimental design, sample collection, data management, and preparation of research reports and publications.
Recruitment & Outreach (25%)
+ Develop recruitment and promotional materials for prospective students.
