About the Center

Center for Volatile Interactions (VOLT) focuses on biogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and their impact on climate. Our research includes field, experimental, and laboratory work on VOC transformations in soils, cryptogams, freshwater, seawater, glacial ice, plant leaf, and rhizosphere microbial communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct own research projects on volatile interactions and assist other researchers.
• Operate and maintain PTR‑TOF‑MS, GC‑MS, optical instruments and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate laboratory and field activities, perform quality control, calibration, and problem‑solving.
