To be part of a successful Facilities Management Team to provide an effective portering service to Oldham Council assets including Civic Centre, Spindles Workspace, JR Clynes and the new Market and Event Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying supplies and furniture
- Electric light replacement
- Flag flying
- General security, including locking and unlocking doors
- Attendance at Council Meetings
- Assist with election duties, including the setup of polling stations each year and responsibility for upkeep and replacement of polling booths
- Have a full understanding of all equipment associated with efficient delivery of a Porter service for the Civic Centre and other Town Centre buildings when required
