Job Description
Location: Nairobi
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, organized, and results-oriented Port Operations Supervisor to oversee the efficient transfer of cargo from the Port to the Container Freight Station (CFS) while ensuring compliance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise the transfer of nominated containers from the Port to the CFS within agreed timelines.
Ensure all containers identified for transfer meet the required criteria regarding seals, cargo security, and physical condition.
Liaise with Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), transporters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
Ensure timely location, loading, scanning, and evacuation of containers from the Port.
Verify that all cargo release documentation meets company and regulatory requirements before movement.
