Job Description

 Weld Spec/HMT is currently looking for a PMI Technician in Beaumont, TX. 
  This is a fulltime embedded role with guaranteed 40 hours/week, with some local travel to customer sites. 
  Responsibilities: 
 Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using non-destructive and destructive methods of testing.
 Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to code requirements 
 Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
 Organize and report test results
 Perform specialized inspections
 May instruct and supervise others
 Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
  Requirements: 
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Some college preferred
