Job Description
We’ve partnered with a well-established technology-led business providing payroll and production finance services to some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. They are looking for a Platform Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team and play a key role in their move from Docker-based deployments to on-premises Kubernetes.
The business has cloud ambitions, but the immediate priority is building, securing and stabilising Kubernetes on physical infrastructure before future cloud migration. You’ll be working alongside an existing DevSecOps Engineer to help build out Kubernetes environments across dev, QA, production and DR, reduce vulnerabilities, improve deployment processes and support the wider software team as they move applications away from Docker.
The environment is hands-on and on-premises, with vanilla Kubernetes running on physical Dell servers, local storage, Longhorn, Calico networking and vulnerability management tooling such as Sysdig. Y...
