About the Role
As a Plant/Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of heavy machinery while contributing to the safe and efficient running of quarry operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy mobile plant including loaders, water carts, excavators, and dump trucks
- Monitor equipment performance and report faults or maintenance requirements
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Work safely and adhere to all site safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with general quarry operations as required
- Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards are met
