Plant Purchasing Lead

Job Summary

The Plant Purchasing Lead will report directly to the Senior Commodity Buyer for NA Emissions. The PPL will support the SB by covering day-to-day tasks. Due to the nature of this role, there will be both structured work/expectations and ad hoc requests. The ability to manage through ambiguity and uncertainty—and to solve problems impacting quality, cost and delivery—is key to the success of the SB and the broader team.

Job Responsibilities

• Send Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to suppliers.
• System Updates and Purchasing View Maintenance in SAP.
• Weekly PPVs; review invoices with issues or on hold to move forward for payment.
• Download info from internal systems for RFQs to send to suppliers, while tracking and entering quotes.
• Support Senior Commodity Buyer and Purchasing Director as needed.
