Plant Engineer (Manufacturing Industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance engineering strategies to ensure maximum plant uptime and reliability
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for equipment failures
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, spares, and lifecycle asset plans
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company engineering standards
• Manage contractors and engineering service providers on site
• Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Plan and execute plant shutdowns and major maintenance projects
• Analyse equipment performance data and implement optimisation strategies
• Lead and mentor maintenance teams and technical personnel
