Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This contract role will partner closely with plant leadership and be responsible for cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that support operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage plant cost accounting and inventory accounting activities.
+ Monitor and reconcile raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventories.
+ Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory transactions, and production variances.
+ Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables.
+ Perform standard vs. actual cost analysis and investigate variances....
