Our client in the automotive industry based in Kariega is looking to appoint a Planning Process Engineer with a Toolmaker trade

POSITION INFO:
Duties Provide technical support to Production to develop and establish efficient manufacturing processes. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost performance. Coordinate and facilitate improvement workshops (e.g. value stream mapping, efficiency workshops). Establish and optimise production processes, including tooling, layouts, and equipment. Resolve production and process-related issues impacting quality or output. Ensure process stability and readiness for production changes and new model introductions. Manage change control relating to engineering changes (ECRs, new models, process updates). Support costing activities for facilities, tooling, and equipment.
