Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production efficiency.
- Assess production capacity and resource availability to ensure alignment with demand forecasts. Make recommendations for capacity expansions or adjustments as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules. Liaise with logistics teams to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory turns. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
