Planning Compliance Officer

Upper Hutt City Council is looking for a Planning Compliance Officer to join our Resource Consents and Compliance team.

As a compliance officer, you will be providing a front‑line service to investigate possible breaches of the Resource Management Act, District Plan and bylaws. The role is also responsible for undertaking monitoring of the resource consents granted by Council to ensure compliance with approved plans/documents and conditions. This includes completing site visits, review of plans and documents submitted for approval, completing tasks associated with subdivision certification; and checking building consent applications for compliance against the District Plan and approved resource consents.
