Overview
As a Community Planner within the Municipal and Housing Operations Division in Kingston, you will support provincial land‑use planning by reviewing complex applications, analysing policy issues, and advising senior decision‑makers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the review and analysis of complex planning applications, developing options and recommendations to support government decision‑making.
- Identify issues with land‑use policy programmes or legislation and recommend changes or improvements in programme structure and delivery.
- Provide guidance and advice on provincial planning interests and on planning matters where the Minister is the decision maker.
