**Job Description**
This role supports a three-month project in the greater Springfield area, retrofitting existing mechanical systems for long-standing customers. You will travel directly from home to various worksites in your own vehicle and focus on hanging and installing steel and copper piping for hot water, boiler, and refrigeration systems without any welding requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, hang, and retrofit steel and copper piping in existing facilities for hot water, boiler, and refrigeration systems.
+ Assemble and connect piping using brazing and press-fit methods rather than welding.
+ Use hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and pipe cutters to measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe accurately.
+ Work with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems as part of piping and refrigeration projects.
+ Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to complete piping installations and retrofits correctl...
