Job Description
CATON CONSTRUCTION GROUP, one of The Caton Companies, is seeking an experienced Pile Driver to join our heavy civil construction project team in BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (Southport).
Operates pile-driving machinery to drive pilings or posts into the ground for support of bridges, piers, buildings, and other structures. Reviews building plans, ensuring pilings are installed accurately. Inspects machinery prior to beginning shift to ensure there are no mechanical problems.
Pay is negotiable and based on experience.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
+ Operates piledriving equipment mounted on skids, barge, crawler treads, or locomotive crane to complete tasks such as driving piles as foundation for structures such as bridges, piers, buildings, etc.
+ Craft knowledge should include pile driving, crane operations, welding, carpentry, sandblasting, pipefitting, and related areas
