Overview
A warehouse picker finds, selects, and packages items for shipment. They may also be referred to as order pickers or picker and packers.
Responsibilities
- Picking : Select the correct items and quantities from inventory based on daily orders
- Packing : Prepare items for shipment by packing them into boxes
- Delivering : Deliver the products to the correct area
- Maintaining inventory : Count and record stock levels, and restock shelves
- Tracking shipments : Track and document the arrival and departure times of shipments
- Quality monitoring : Monitor the quality of the products
- Organization : Keep products organized
- Safety : Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- At least a high school graduate.
