QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Three (3) years' experience working with children who have severe/profound physical, cognitive and communication impairments.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to independently organize and plan treatment programs, set priorities, and to work with parents and other professional disciplines as part of a team.
- Ability to train and monitor others to deliver PT recommendations.
- Ability to be perceptive to the needs of children and families and able to act accordingly with tact, patience, and optimism.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English, preferably with word processing skills. <...
