PhD Researcher: Migration, Platform Labour & Ethnography

The University of Helsinki invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher in the Social Sciences for 3.5 years, starting 1 October 2026. The MAPS project investigates digital platforms' impact on service labour from a migration perspective, focusing on ethnography among migrant workers and platform ecosystems in Finland.

The role spans independent research, ethnographic methods, project dissemination, and teaching up to 5%.
