PhD Researcher: Bayesian ML & Information Geometry

The University of Helsinki invites applications for a full-time Doctoral Researcher position starting September 2026 or as agreed. You will work on advances in generalized Bayesian inference using differential-geometric methods, under the supervision of Marcelo Hartmann and Luu Hoang Phuc Hau.

Responsibilities include completing a PhD within four years, developing algorithms grounded in information and Riemannian geometry, and potential teaching duties up to 5%. Applications close July 15, 2026.
