Job Description
PhD Research Fellow in Fluid Mechanics
About the project
We seek a highly motivated and exceptionally talented PhD research fellow in fluid mechanics to pursue research tasks aiming to develop novel theoretical frameworks for the coupling between multiscale flows involving ocean surface waves, submesoscale current, turbulence, and wind actions. The research aims to derive a highly accurate and efficient theoretical model by extending newly derived frameworks from the ERC starting grant 'OceanCoupling' project and numerically implement the theoretical models. Interested applicants must address why and how their research background and experience would make them a great fit of the post in the motivation or application letter. The position is expected to be filled as soon as possible.
