PhD Candidate in Mathematical Logic and Computation

The University of Helsinki invites applications for a PhD student in mathematical logic within the Helsinki Logic Group. The position is funded by the Academy of Finland and runs from 1 Sept 2026 to 31 Aug 2030, with a six‑month trial period.

The researcher will pursue a dissertation in SciDoc, publish results, and participate in conferences abroad while carrying out teaching and public engagement tasks amounting to 10% of yearly time.
