Overview

At Loblaw Companies Limited, the Pharmacy Technician reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time, maintaining adequate inventory levels, providing counseling and documentation to patients, delivering friendly customer interactions, and educating customers through public relations activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and promptly to patients.
• Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (e.g., public health days, clinics).
