Job Description
A clinical IV pharmacist position is available with a contract-to-hire opportunity in Paragould, AR. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with a minimum of one year of current IV pharmacy experience, a clear Arkansas pharmacist license, and strong clinical skills, including interpreting laboratory results. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with working every third weekend required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room as needed.
- Perform various clinical pharmacy duties, demonstrating flexibility to assist where required.
- Utilize clinical knowledge to support patient care and medication safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of recent IV pharmacist experience.
- Current and valid Arkansas pharmacist license.
