Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a renowned medical center in Chicago, IL. This 13-week contract begins on March 23 and offers a dynamic schedule consisting of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends. Candidates must be prepared to start promptly due to the urgent need to fill this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication verification and order checking
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with standards
- Conduct IV admixture checking to maintain patient safety and medication accuracy
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and verification processes
