Personal Lines Automobile Underwriter

Overview

As a Personal Lines Automobile Underwriter, you contribute to the prevention, acceptance or refusal of a risk to be underwritten based on established underwriting guidelines. You play a technical expert role and provide support to our partners in a call‑centre environment, adapting your approach to meet the situation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects and complex operational issues related to property and casualty insurance underwriting.
• Develop underwriting solutions in accordance with current standards and each file’s unique circumstances.
• Serve as resource person for the application of underwriting rules.
• Help employees develop their technical skills.
• Carry out specialized technical studies, research and analysis related to property and casualty insurance underwriting.
