Join Brightshores in Owen Sound as a Perianesthesia Registered Nurse, providing full-time, temporary care in Day Surgery/PACU. Your focus will be on promoting health and recovery for patients.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of PACU protocols and surgical practices. You will report to the Surgical Services Manager and showcase your leadership skills while delivering exceptional care to both adults and children. Your expertise in procedural settings will ensure high standards of safety and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments during patient recovery
• Provide supportive and therapeutic care post-surgery
• Administer IV medications, PCA, and epidural analgesia
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
