Insight Global’s client is seeking a Performance Engineer to join their team. This engineer is responsible for the overall performance quality of systems and technology released into the client’s production environment. The scope of this role spans the full performance testing lifecycle — including strategy and planning, design and development of automated scripts, test execution, results analysis, and metrics reporting.
The team is currently transitioning from performance testing to performance engineering — meaning this role goes beyond receiving a user story with SLA/acceptance criteria and executing pass/fail scripts. This engineer will be expected to validate end-to-end — from front end through microservices into the backend and into SAP S/4HANA — identify root cause, and communicate findings clearly.
The client is also actively integrating AI tooling (currently GitHub Copilot, migrating to Claude) into the performance engineering workflow for script revie...
