Position Summary/Description:
As part of our strategic plan toward a new, free-standing, 550-bed Children’s hospital, the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, seeks an accomplished academic physician to serve as Section Chief of Pediatric Hepatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This position is full-time, fixed term, variable track and/or tenure/tenure track. Rank will be determined at a level commensurate with the applicant’s experience and accomplishments.
The Section Chief will report to the Division Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology. The ideal candidate will be a nationally recognized leader in pediatric hepatology with the vision and skills to build a world-class academic liver program.
