About the role
Are you an enthusiastic and resilient PE Teacher with a passion for making a difference? A specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Birkenhead is seeking a committed PE Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis, starting immediately.
Responsibilities
You will be delivering creative and engaging PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students with a range of SEMH needs. Your role will involve building strong relationships, promoting positive behaviour, and using sport and physical activity to boost self‑esteem, teamwork, and emotional well‑being.
Qualifications
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential.
- Have experience working with or a strong interest in SEMH students.
- Confidently teach PE across KS3 and KS4.
- Bring energy, empathy, and a genuine passion for PE.
- Be ready to start immediately and can commit to a long‑term role.
