**Description**
**Job Summary:**
The **Sr. Technical Lead – Protection & Controls** leads P&C engineering team responsible for delivering high‑quality P&C designs for substation projects. The Sr. Technical Lead ensures that all P&C engineering work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while driving innovation, efficiency, and team growth.
**What you'll do:**
+ Oversee development of protection and control engineering packages for substation projects
+ Provide expert guidance on relay protection schemes, SCADA, automation, and communication system design.
+ Approve and stamp engineering deliverables as needed (one‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, relay settings, control wiring, I/O lists, etc.).
+ Ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, IEC, and utility‑specific standards.
+ Lead technical reviews, QA/QC processes, and design optimization initiatives.
