This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can quickly step in to manage payroll processing with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule using Workday
+ Review and validate employee payroll data, earnings, deductions, and tax information
+ Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, benefits deductions, and off-cycle payrolls
+ Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
+ Reconcile payroll reports and support month-end close activities
+ Partner with HR, Accounting, and management teams to maintain payroll accuracy
