Job Description
The Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Council's fortnightly payroll and the delivery of high-quality payroll services to employees, managers and key stakeholders. The role ensures compliance with Council's Enterprise Agreement, relevant Awards, legislation, taxation and superannuation requirements while maintaining the integrity of payroll data and systems.
Working collaboratively within the Payroll Team, the Payroll Officer provides specialist payroll advice, resolves complex payroll enquiries, supports continuous improvement initiatives and contributes to the effective delivery of payroll services for approximately 1, employees.
