TEKsystems is hiring a Payroll Clerk to work for a client based in the New York NY area.
Our client is well known and has been growing aggressively for the past 50 years in the Midtown Manhattan area. This position is crucial in supporting their payroll department during their busy Fiscal year-end closing and the opening of a new fiscal year.
Qualifications
-3 years payroll experience
-Excel experience
-Attention to Detail: Highly important for reviewing reports and identifying errors
-Organizational Skills: Ability to keep track of tasks and make notes on findings
Job Description
-Reviewing vacation reports, specifically focusing on a unique rollover policy and ensuring correct accruals for each person
-Identifying and pointing out any discrepancies or unusual items in vacation data
-Assisting with payroll processing during payroll weeks
