Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Process employee hires, changes, and terminations for hourly employees.
  • Process employee timesheets and adjustments, and run payroll.
  • Prepare monthly union reporting and related payments.
  • Perform payroll accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist with year‑end reporting processes.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with other payroll functions as required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a unionized environment.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.
  • Experience with Workday is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret collective bargaining agreements and determine related payroll requirements.
