Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for a workforce of under 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a regular basis
  • Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs)
  • Complete payroll journal entries and ensure accurate reporting to accounting
  • Remit source deductions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Perform year-end payroll activities, including:
  • T4 and T4A preparation
  • RL1 preparation
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Support the annual payroll audit process
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline payroll processes
  • Ensure payroll practices remain compliant with applicable legislation and internal policies
