We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for a workforce of under 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
Key Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a regular basisPrepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs)Complete payroll journal entries and ensure accurate reporting to accountingRemit source deductions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsPerform year-end payroll activities, including:T4 and T4A preparationRL1 preparationPayroll reconciliationsSupport the annual payroll audit processIdentify opportunities to enhance and streamline payroll processesEnsure payroll practices remain compliant with applicable legislation and internal policies
