Patient Care Technician
Status: Full Time (36 hours/week)
Shift: Varies & every other weekend and rotating holidays
Position Summary: Provides direct patient care and support under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, patient procedures, monitoring, and treatment-related tasks while promoting a safe and compassionate patient experience.
+ Responsibilities
+ Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulation, repositioning, and transportation.
+ Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake and output, blood glucose testing, specimen collections, telemetry application, and Foley care.
+ Support patient care activities including simple dressings, bladder scans, restraint application/removal, and patient transport.
+ Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN.
