We are recruiting a Pastoral Mentor to work within a secondary school in Peterlee. The role focuses on supporting pupils with emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement with learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 pastoral support to pupils
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Monitor wellbeing and engagement
Work closely with pastoral leads and safeguarding teams
Build trusted relationships with pupils
Skills & Experience
Experience working with young people is desirable
Calm, empathetic and resilient approach
Strong communication skills
