Volunteer Placement – Lima, Peru
Location: Lima, Peru Start Date: July 2026 Placement Length: 5 months Language Requirement: Spanish Level 4‑Advanced Eligibility: Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada only Responsibilities
Conduct skills needs assessments with local private sector businesses to identify skill gaps and guide training curriculum adjustments for vocational and technical institutions. Facilitate capacity building workshops training partners on economic facilitation, market approaches, private sector engagement, and measuring economic impact. Support business linkages and partnerships by networking partners with companies, promoting supplier development for disadvantaged groups, and enhancing women’s and youth employment. Develop monitoring and learning indicators for employment and competitiveness, train partners in data collection and analysis, and use insights to improve programs and showcase impact. Qualifications
