Part Time Travel Training Instructor

A new vacancy currently exists for a part-time Travel Training Instructor within the Division of Student Services at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will be located throughout Chester County within the Discover program at the CCIU.

This position will provide travel training instruction to students, ages to , with cognitive and/or physical impairments other than of a visual nature, to learn safe and independent travel in the community, using public transportation as appropriate, as well as safety with navigation on foot in local communities throughout Chester County. A secondary purpose is to provide instructional strategies to teachers to support students in learning pre-travel training and mobility skills within their school community as part of their educational program.
