Become a vital part of our community at Arbour Heights as a Part-Time Recreation Aide, where you will assist in creating memorable experiences for our residents through engaging programs. This role focuses on programming and resident interaction, fostering a nurturing environment.
Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will assist in the planning and execution of activities, ensuring they are meaningful and enjoyable for our elderly residents. You will also maintain records, facilitate residents in outings, and take on various tasks as necessary to support their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with staff to design and implement engaging programs
• Maintain and document records of participation and evaluations
• Facilitate resident outings and activities
• Support meal services as needed during activities
• Uphold Extendicare's Code of Conduct in daily tasks
