Become a Part Time Lab Patient Technician with LifeLabs, providing essential specimen collection and patient care. Deliver valuable diagnostic services to enhance the health of Canadians.
In this part-time position, you'll greet patients and guide them through the specimen collection process, ensuring they understand the necessary protocols. As a vital part of LifeLabs, you will perform phlebotomies, ECG tracings, and special test collections, all while providing excellent patient service and maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain specimen collection protocols
• Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Conduct special test collections and complete documentation
• Maintain client relationships and respond to inquiries
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program preferred
• Phlebotomy experience is an asset
