Job Description
Renfrew Educational Service is seeking a dedicated Educational Audiologist to join their Low Incidence team. This opportunity involves both part-time and full-time work, focusing on student audiology support.
The Educational Audiologist will work at the Child Development Centre, with roles varying based on a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE schedule over 10.25 months. Responsibilities include training caregivers about hearing loss, assessing acoustics for educational settings, and utilizing technologies that support auditory learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate within a professional multidisciplinary team
• Educate on auditory disorders and impacts
• Conduct assessments for classroom acoustics
• Facilitate training on hearing technology
• Consult on the selection and maintenance of equipment
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Proof of ACSLPA registration required
• Preferred experience in educational settings
