Part-Time Academic (MATH 1215.03: Life Sciences Calculus) - Winter 2027

The Part-Time Academic will teach a section of the half-credit course, MATH 1215 Life Sciences Calculus, during the Winter Term (January – April 2027). The section is lecture section 02 and is scheduled MWF from 1135 – 1225. 

Responsibilities include course preparation, lectures, grading, and student feedback. The successful candidate will maintain 3 hours of scheduled student hours each week.

Course Description: 
This course emphasizes the application of calculus to the life sciences. The concepts and content studied include derivatives, techniques of differentiation, logarithmic and exponential functions, optimization, basic ordinary differential equations, integration, and techniques and applications of integration.
