Part-Time Academic (KINE/HPRO/LEIS 5501: Advanced Research Methods) - Fall 2026

The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: KINE/HPRO/ LEIS 5501 Advanced Research Methods. The course will be offered in the fall term, from September 1-December 30, 2026. NOTE: This is an in-person course that involves lecture, experiential activities, discussion format.

This course is intended for students in thesis-based graduate health-related programs to help guide the development of a quantitative research proposal. This course will begin with graduate-level skills in evidence synthesis and critical appraisal of research, and foundational concepts across a variety of research designs and approaches will be explored and critiqued before emphasizing quantitative methods and proposal preparation.
