Overview

This role involves accurately and skillfully carrying out panel repair and replacement on vehicles to customer satisfaction while detecting and diagnosing additional faults for further repair.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair operations to prescribed methods and standards.
• Work to times and standards as dictated by Thatcham, insurance company guidelines, manufacturer standards, and company policy.
• When welding, perform a test weld and retain results until repairs are complete.
• Repaint repaired areas using body filler finished with 180‑grade production paper.
• Maintain an accurate and comprehensive list of additional parts required and communicate findings to relevant departments.
• Practice good housekeeping: panels removed are not left in hazardous positions; general waste is disposed of in provided receptacles.
