Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to perform surface preparation and coating application on railcars undergoing recertification. This role involves blasting surfaces to remove old coatings, applying new paint and inner lining coatings, affixing identification markings, and maneuvering railcars in and out of the work area using a Trackmobile, Rail King, or other railcar mover.

Job Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Perform industrial abrasive blasting to remove old paint, rust, and contaminants, ensuring proper coating adhesion.

Painting & Coating: Apply primer, paint, and specialized inner lining coatings using spray systems and other application methods.

Detailing & Labeling: Affix fresh decals, identification numbers, and regulatory markings per company and industry standards.

Equipment Operation: Use a Trackmobile, Rail King, or other railcar mover to safely position railcars in and out of bays.<...
